I cant belive that Im writing this message but my 4dr was stolen last night from a good neighborhood on the upper west side of manhattan. I parked there at night at about 8:30pm and came out the next morning 8:15 to find it missing. The funny thing is that I had nothing flashy on the car at all. My radio was not even in, My music cost me about $250 total. I had the jdm climate control, cluster, fog lights and switches, and the ferio door garnishes. Also the jdm headlights and corners, but as anyone knows none of this stuff draws any immediate attention to the car. On the outside a set of 95 gsr rims, dropped. thats it, stock motor and all. This just goes to show that any civic is in danger no matter where you are parked or how stock it looks. anyway I cant cry about it I just hope to get it back in a condition I can work with. and if I do catch whoever stole my car, may god bless you.

It was in the 80's in a good neighborhood, bmws, mini coopers in the street but no they go for the civic. NO full coverage either just liability.

That sucks man, i feel your pain. They probably stole it thinking you had some motor in there worth taking. haha, they were probably like "lets go lets go" "i am trying to go but this damn thing has a stock motor " Sorry, just trying to bring some humor to the situation. I had my car stolen too, and it sucks real bad.

That could be a good possibility if you were in a no parking zone or parked on a snow emergency route. I know they were towing cars left and right last week due to parking on snow emergency routes. And they move them to side streets and stuff. Call around with local towing companies...that could always be a possiblity

Im sure I checked with DOT and with the Marshal nobody has it. I filed a police report too and the cops double checked and said no one had it

Its better to report it awhile after you discover it so you can hope the thieves get away or else you are stuck with a stripped car. Lets hope you dont find it and get all the insurence money. If you only have liability, god bless you. I only had liablility until my car got broken into, now i have full coverage. For twenty dollars more a month its well worth it! Sorry bro

thieves will never be stopped and there is nothing you can do or any amount of money you can spend to stop them..if they want what you have they take it plain and simple..if you dont want your car to get stolen park it in a garage or dont modify it..other wise its partyly your fault it got stolen for spending money on it and leaving your possesions in a public area out of sight where any one can take it at will
