Another sputtering problem at stops 2000 civic hb b18c1
I got a sputtering problem at stop lights or stop signs if I let my car sit for 30secs to 1min. It's a 2000 civic HB with b18c1 CA BAR. It annoys me very much and has been doing this for almost 2 months now. It idles when at stops around 1k then as it sits it drops to 500-800. Then as I accerlate at stops it sputters a little or chokes and feels like I need to push the gas pedal and rev it up high to get it going. I had done the following, cooland flush, oil change, spark plugs, clean throttle body and iacv, changed fuel filter, disconnect the battery to reset the ecu. I'm thinking about doing distributer cap and rotors, coils, a compression test to see if all cylinders are running good at a shop because I don't know how to do it, and transmission flush because I think it needs one. Any thing else you guys think I can do to solve this problem?

could be injector related, ever pull the plugs while its sputtering to see what cylinder it is? if not give that a try. Also check your grounds.

For any one who had the same problem, I went to the junk yard and got myself a used fuel pressure regulator. The problem hasn't return when I stop at stops or red lights. It run better now. Idles around 1k now which is normal every time I stop
