Another soft brake pedal issue - after changing right rear caliper
Driving a 93 Si Hatch. Swapped out the right rear caliper. Installed a spare that I had that was in good condition (but that has been sitting for a few years).
Some brake fluid escaped while I was working on it, but the MC did not go dry or anything. After reinstallation I bled it. Brake would not engage. Pedal is soft. Parking brake does nothing.
After reading on here that I should bleed them all ... I did that. Didn't see any air come out of the others but I bled them anyway til the brake fluid was clear. I did them in the correct order: RR, LR, RF, LF.
Brake pedal gets stiff when I press it, but goes soft after turning the car on. I did all the bleeding with the ignition in IG2 (ie., car was ON, but not running) ... don't know if that matters.
What next? TIA.

Re: Another soft brake pedal issue - after changing right rear caliper
Thanks for the help, everyone. Turned out it was a faulty caliper. Swapped in my second(!) spare and everything was fine again. Bled again with the key out this time .... not that it should make a difference.
