another problem need suggestions
ok guys, I've posted about this before, but i'm about to sit down tonight and take a look at what all could possibly be a problem so give me ideas. when i start driving, my car is bogging down really really bad. I'm not sure that describes how bad, it's pretty horrible. mostly on acceleration too. i used to be able to top out around 110mph, now max is like closer to 90. when i accelerate it feels like someone is jerking their foot on and off the gas. Tonight I am going to take the cat off and see if it runs better. thing is, it barely idles poorly at all so i doubt it's the cat. any ideas? I know i have a very very minor compression leak, but it's not enough to affect it on this scale i don't think.
Here is what i've replaced and know is not the problem:
new sparkplugs
new wires
new grounds
new rotor and cap
new fuel injectors

Re: another problem need suggestions (crazyguy)
sorry, ignition timing is fine. spark plug wires firing order is correct, fuel filter is brand new. so far i plan on checking the cat and timing. crazy guy, i'm going to clean the iacv anyway just cause i have seen that you know your **** on here and i respect your ideas, but i doubt that would make it bog down at 65 mph in 4th gear. Also, i think that would make it idle very poorly and as i said, it idles a little rough, but it's not that bad.

If the cat and timing belt turn out to be fine, other possible causes worth considering are a faulty MAP sensor, TDC/CRANK/CYL sensor, or fuel pressure regulator.
