I don't think you can go bigger than 12 or so inches or the caliper won't clear...why do you need all that stopping power? a four wheel disk conversion should be all you need, unless you are pushing 400hp on the street.

I'm not pushing that much power at all, but I would like to stick to a good brand, if i am going to spend the money, what brand do you suggest

IMO it's not a necissary upgrade. stock should be fine, or moving up to GSR brakes all around.

going big brake is a good addition to any hybrid. the question is what to use???
you can take the yellow brick road and go with the usual brembo, aem, wilwood etc.
or go with what's practical front big break kit from fastbrakes.com. all the hybridder's in socal like me use it. they also have a rear big brake kit for the rear. but if i were you (which im not) just go with the front kit and use your stock in the rear.(if you go with both there might be a chance that the rears will lock up.)
good luck

You do not need any type of caliper or rotor upgrade (size wise)..
If your rotors are still good, keep them, if its time for new ones, get plain, vented brembo rotors for the front, the backs will last forever..
Get an agressive street pad.. Gonna cost money but that is what makes it stop! Hawk HPS is a good choise..
Better fluid, ATE superblue is great stuff!
Stainless steel lines never hurt..
