Another oil change Q

Well i was changing my oil the other day(went to a nearby parking lot for flatness), after 10 minutes of trying to get the drain bolt off it finally budged, and i let the oil drain for like 10 mins. Anyways, when i trie dto replace the old oil filter, it would not come off, so i kept it on there, and put new oil in. The thing is now after about 1 day of changing the oil my car is running VERY lean, and i can hear the retainers during idle clicking loud like no other. Just wondering if i should rehcange the oil and put on a new filter or is it fine enough for 2k miles?(sorry for my dumb questions, but what an ez resource w/ knowledgeable ppl)

most cars are good changing the filter every 2 oil changes...most people do it every time just to be safe but you should be fine doing it once https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

The last time I checked, your oil has no bearing on your air/fuel ratio.
Did you put oil back in?
Some recomend filter changes every other oil change, I do it every change though. You should be fine.
