Icon2 Another GSR master/C and B/B EG swap question

Just making real sure of what I can and cannot do so... I have a 1992 non-ABS civic SI with stock disks front and rear, and my master cylinder and B/B dont work anymore

My questions: Can I just replace the M/C and B/B with GSR ones without changing anything else.
-Does my civic has a 40/40 proportioning valve? and if it dont, do I need it for these swap?

and my understanding is that I have to re-bend and re-flare the stock line, and use the bigger nut from the gsr line.
Ive searched and everything gets so confusing when people start talking about what car has these on it, or it doesnt have that on it, so it wont work

so again just making sure of what I can do according to the car I have thank you very much for the help.

I personally have an integra RS brake booster and master cylinder. the stock hard lines on my '92 cx fit directly on those without any rebending or flaring. i dont believe you have a 40/40 prop valve on your car. i had to pick up one of those myself, but you have an si and i have a cx. i think if you look on the body of the prop valve, it has numbers indicating what size valve you have...

thanks for the info, do you have any Idea if I MUST have the 40/40 prop valve in order to do these(gsr) swap?

no u dont need it, ur already setup for rear discs... when going from drum to disc you need it to properly distribute brake fluid to each assembly but since your already setup for rear discs your fine... just make sure to bench bleed the new m/c when you get it, an than properly bleed your brakes on ur car "furthest to closest" RR, RL, FR, FL is the order if im not mistaken... The 15/16's setup works good "91 civic ex sedan m/c will bolt right to ur brake booster, an i've probably seen about 1 brake booster go bad in my life so i'd check to make sure urs is even bad before u do anything"... otherwise u can use the teg 15/16's mc-bb or the gsr/itr 1" mc-bb...

thank you just what I needed to know but I have one more question. I was reading that changing my master cylinder to a bigger one will make my brake pedal feel too stiff because the GSR M/C is used to push more fluid to bigger calipers and rotors, so will that be a big problem since I have stock SI brakes and calipers? now im cofuse is it good to do the swap or not?

naa dude i bought my 15/16's from autozone it came in 2 days, and cost $60ish... worked flawlessly, and like stated previously it allows you to use ur stock brake booster... But as long as your brakes are properly bled your pedal shouldn't feel any stiffer just more responsive... I plan on going to 1" once i get my 5 lug setup, my cousins ITR brake swap on his eg hatch with a 1" mc/bb stops better than most newer cars i've rode in...
