Re: another ghey exhaust poll (SpoonSportsEH2)
I really like the car, having both ridden and driven a car with a tanabe super medallion I personally like the sound, and like the performance. I am a loud functional exhaust ***** though. But honestly it makes a b18c5 swap in a gutted hatch sound so nice, like a race car. Plus it is alot lighter over stock, and lighter than the 5zigen

Tenzo with custom piping! Great price! And looks! Why spend $600 on a cat back sysytem, while it could go towards your Turbo or supercharger? spend $300 and save the $300 for real power!

Re: another ghey exhaust poll (acydphryck)
Well I seen the TSRM for $469 (havent looked around for cheaper yet).....if I went custom I would get the Spoon N1 and need piping anyways, so I figure just get something complete. I also owned the TRM on my first CRX and loved it. But on the civic the 5Zigen looks like it angles, which looks better. And no I dont like those Apexi WS/Hyper and the such. Anyone know if the TSRM for the hatch has one or two resonator's? And exact pipe size? Thanks.

Tanabe RM is an awesome exhaust.. alot of people give it **** because it looks like a fart can, but it's actually a quality exhaust and there are ALOT of people who like it.
I don't know **** about the fireball (I've heard it was pretty good, but also loud), but I'd go with the tanabe. I'm guessing these two exhausts are going to give close to the same power gains since they are both a straight through design...
They both have gay names that's for sure. I hate telling people the name of the exhaust I have, it's like a sentence long - "Tanabe Racing Medalion."
I had my girlfriend drive my car last night and I followed her. It was the first time I've heard this exhaust from behind, and I was really suprised, I thought it sounded REALLY good (deep bass sounding) while driving around town, but vtec just screams too loud... I need to get a silencer for it. If that doesn't shut it up, I'll be getting a different axle back. I like the piping too much to get rid of though...
