Default Another DIY Smoked Vision Amber Corners Thread

Well, after seeing the thread on Honda-Tech, I decided to purchase a set of eBay Vision corners and smoke them myself. I used some Hobby Store RC car tint paint and sprayed one coat on the outside. Then I used two coats of automotive clear coat. Then I did two coats of wax on them. . Here are the results:

Sorry for the large pics, didn't have time to resize them. Comments and questions accepted.

You can go darker, but I just wanted them slightly smoked. I didn't want to go overboard. I only did one coat of the tint paint.

Corners were like $30 and the paint was like $5. I can take a pic of the can I bought later tonight after work.

It is window tint for RC cars that you spray on the body. The clear coat was just Duplicolor Clear for painting cars that I had laying around. I will take pics when I get off work.

I don't remember them being that flat/dull. I think it might just be the camera angle and weak 1.3 megapixel camera.

It looks dull because the car has its rear to the sun and the lights are in the shade.
