Default Another 'Car won't start' thread...

My girlfriends 95 Del Sol has sat for about 4-5 months because she's been driving my SRT-4, and we wanted to move it but it wouldn't start. The battery was dead so I pulled the battery and charged it, re-installed the batter and it still won't start. The car will crank over but no luck in getting it to fire up.

Other things we have tried;

Checked plugs for fuel, they smell like fuel so it appears as if the fuel system is working.
Pulled wires individually and checked spark with a screw driver on the valve cover. Car is getting spark.

At this point, I'm not sure what else to try... so I'm looking for some advice or a new item to try! HELP!

is the car throwing any codes?
and the spark plugs arnt suposed to smell like fuel.. 2 reasons for that 1 is it would be running rich and 2 leaky injectors
oh n second never check for spark with a screwdriver and the valve cover.. back in the 60s 70s that was ok to do cause there wernt any pcms in the car but now thats between 5-15000 volts of spark going thru your screwdriver on to your valve cover wich is connected to ground and guess what.. so is your pcm if in some weird chance that that voltage spike finds its way to your pcm .. your screwed..
thats why they make spark plug testers

The spark plugs smelling like fuel could also be from pressing the accelerator while he was trying to get the car to start, also could cause the cylinders to flood(not literally, but enough).

Secondly, chances are it could be an ignition coil. If there car was running before normally, and it sat, then the problem shouldn't be that great I don't think.
