Default another autolock question!!

I dont drive my si all that much so i have only used the autolock a couple times. My question for you guys is the fitting. Everytime i use mine it doesnt seem to fit the clutch pedal the whole way. I wish i could show you all what i mean but perhaps some of you have the same problem and know what i am talking about. Its effective but its like i cant pull the handle up very far, and when you look down you can see that it doesnt close the whole way but enough that it will not come off. Is there something i am doing wrong or do you all experience the same thing when putting yours on? Any suggestions as to what i might be doing wrong. Its such a tight area to menuever and its been so cold that when i have put it on i just make sure and wont come off and leave.

i know on my 92 hatch I had to put it up high on the back of the floor board if that makes any sence and the bottom of the autolock kind of sat at an angle on the floor. I was able to pull the handle up pretty far.

Thanks i will have to try that the next time i use it. It just doesnt seem to slide the whole way up when you use it towards the bottom of the clutch pedal for some reason. Anybody else out there run into problems using there autolock?

I used the brake for autolock while having a clutch pedal kill switch. I also removed the ECU but that`s another topic alltogether.

I use my Autolock religiously. It was hard to put on at first - I even considered returning it. However, the trick is to tilt it a bit so it fits correctly. It might take some time to figure it out (and I suggest doing it in the daylight so you can see what the hell you're doing) but it will fit.
