Another Auto to Manual Converison in an EK question ... (mount related)
Well everything is in and converted for the most part however I have a problem with the rear transmission mount.
I managed to reuse all the mounts minus the passenger side mount that actually attaches to the transmission. That one was swapped out in favor of one from an EK manual transmission. However the rear mount seems to be about an inch off. An old eg mount and the auto ek 'L' mount bracket seem to be the same.
I haven't read of anyone else having this problem and I'm wondering if this is normal, or my car is just weird.

I checked part numbers online, and the auto & manual bracket in question are the same.
The only answer I can come up with is your engine is misaligned. You need to support the engine, unbolt the other mounts, and bolt up that rear mount first. Sounds like the whole engine is leaning too far forward.

Could you link me to where you checked the part numbers. I checked hondaautomotiveparts.com but they didn't have a section for motor mounts on the EK, only their EG lineup ...
EDIT: And thanks for the prompt, helpfull answer .
