Annoying Exhaust Help!
So i have a straight piping w/ Flowmaster muffler, Random Technology Cat Cov, no resonator, and it's making that ricer noise. Any ideas what might be causing this sound?

FYI, i had stock exhaust before and it made the same sound but now it's lower with this new flowmaster

I don't think it's the flowmaster because it was doing the same thing w/ my stock Honda exhaust. I too was thinking that it might be the resonator

Re: Annoying Exhaust Help!
resonator will do the trick. the purpose of a resonator is to help the muffler quiet the noise by reducing the amount of harmonic drones, basicly act like a mini muffler.

The fact that it's a Honda with a Honda motor is pretty much the main reason you are getting the ricer sound. Find a better muffler. I know the Mugen Twin loop sounds pretty nice and smooth.

i have a na d15b7 with all the bolt-ons possible, and you know the single cams have the worst exhaust sound.....i changed my headers to 4-2-1, added a cat-delete, and a tanabe super racing medallion cat-back...now it sounds like a Subaru at idle, but gets hella loud at high rpm's
