first post so hello from scotland

i have a 98 crx del sol esi it has a standard alarm on it, the alarm works as it should but when i arm/disarm the alarm the indicators no longer flash, they work fine when the hazards are on or when using as indicators the relay clicks at the passenger footwell twice when setting and once when disarming. there is a little lock thing in the glovebox which i have the key for but this doesnt seem to have any effect with the indicator probs.....
