THE obd0 has 3 wires and the obd1 has 4!<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by toolowsol »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">plugs might not match, but are the wires colors the same, you could match them up and hard wire it up</TD></TR></TABLE>

take the obd 0 alternator apart, so that u can swap the actual board that uses the 4 wire plug.
this way you dont have to mess with wires.

your making a big deal about this alternator, when you can just do what i said and swap the circuit.
it will act as if it were your original alternator but in a b-series housing.
ive done many first gen b16's into 92-up cars and this is by far the easiest thing to do .

yes i have heard of people swapping the circuit over myself....its not very hard at all to take apart and alternator either...as long as u have ur old D series obd1 alt. then ur set. take apart the d series first so you can go through it once and see what goes on inside of these things before you **** up ur bseries.
