Alternator Problem Due to Pulley?
This is a wierd problem that I have had for awhile can't recall when it even started. I have a 99 EJ8 and when the car is running the dash lights and gauges and dome lights will flicker they never turn off just rapidly dim bright dim bright. Its hard to say if my headlights are doing it also. I have an AEM power pulley on my stock alternator. Was wondering if this can cause that variance. while the car is off the lights are steady? Opinions?

Re: Alternator Problem Due to Pulley? (hondastrtracr)
did you have the problem before you put the pulley on? i have heard that underdrive pulleys can burn up alternators so it isn't too far fetched to say you have a bad alternator....whether the pulley is the actual cause for it or not is tough to say.
