Which alternator do i have?
Alright, like the topic says.....which alternator do i have and how can i tell without gettin allup under the car....can i use the vin # or something? or can i look donw in the engine bay and see the top of it and tell some how? nippondenso or mitsuba?

becasue there are two differnet types and only one type will work on each car...they have different types of plugs......

ok, figured it out.....it's the nippondenso...
if anyone else is ever in the predicament of not knowing which kind theirs is...... I CAN HELP NOW.......becasue apparently no one else wanted to help...looking at the alternator from above the engine, if the two connectors on the alternator are on the same side of the alternator about an inch apart from each other it's a nippondenso alternator......if the connectors are on the same side but are about 3 or 4 inches apart, then it's a mitsubishi alternator. Just incase anyone else ever has this problem and cant find the info quick, here it is....
