Alternator Belt Squeeks every time I accelerate. What does this mean?

Alternator Belt Squeeks every time I accelerate. What does this mean?
I think I just need to spray some belt spray on it, that or tighten it. It's really annoying because the slightest acceleration and it squeeks. It's on a b18b, FYI.

you answered you own question, replace it if it looks worn or tighten it if it is too loose

belts tend to squeek when old and worn or too tight... check the tension on it and adjust accordingly... whatever u do.. dont put motor oil on them
