Alternative(s) to the cheap made OEM plastic screws??
Detailing my EG today (removed side skirts & complete front support) and need to replace a few of the plastic screws...
These are from the sideskirts. Only a couple would actually screw out to remove. I had to force the rest by pulling the sideskirt out because they would twist but not back out
Mainly need the screws and I believe just one white plastic clip is messed up....
No big deal if I have to buy from Honda. Just want to check because there may be better made universal ones out there.... If you have a parts # that would be perfect from Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc..... I'm not interested in going out and hunting for these but will go get them if someone has input.

the plastic screws ( pops) that hold the fron bumber and rear bumper on are like $$ at a dealership. I brought some and spend like 70 dollars on 2 packets of them

You can use any universal clips that fit those holes. You can get large packages of them at Autozone for cheaper than you can get an indivudal one at Honda.

Yeah, I was hoping to get a parts number for them because with my luck (past experiences) I will buy the wrong ones

There's an autozone 6 miles from the house.....
I sure hope these clips work better than the OEM ones
I will post pics of the fastners when I get home tomorrow.

If you have a Lowes nearby go there
They have an assortment of all kind of clips, tabs, everything.
I just picked up some yesterday to use when I reinstall my mudflaps because I destroyed the stockers when I was taking them off.

you might wanna try using toyota plastic screws, no lie haha they fit like honda ones but they are easier to remove (i.e. your not gonna break them taking them off) the thread on the plastic screw is different than hondas

Re: (litterbox)
Just put use some nuts/bolts for your bumper. Or i've seen alot of people use zip-ties.
Why pay Honda a ****-ton for some silly little clip?

Try going to a junkyard and tell the guy u just need a few clips, give him like $10 and rape the car of every clip so u have spares for next time. Damn u take your side skirts off when u clean your car, definalty a full detail.

That's what I did. I got sick of those silly ******* clips that leave a gap in the bumper so I took some spare bolts I had, put a washer on each side, and bolted it up.
And yes, I've used zip ties. They work, but unless you have heavy-duty ones or a lot of them they will eventually break.

Re: (importdreamer)
I've picked up some At Auto zone before in the section that has all the the little HELP packages. They weren't a perfect match to my OEM one's but they worked.
