i needed help trying to figure out what ohm sub i should get. im only planning on putting one 12' sub in my car by alpine. i dont know what one i should get, the 2 ohm or 4? and also what amp will be good for that, this is the sub output spec # power handling: 300-600 watts RMS (300 watts per coil)

4 OHMs are best for car because they ive out a lot of power but dont wasted to much energy, 2 OHMs are most use in house sound, so if i where you i just pick up 4 OHMs, because all in car came like tht and if you want it to sound clean and nice you should put everything on your car 2 OHMs like cd player, speakers and amp
