did you guys just buy the axle back part and get the rest of the exhaust custom done? what diameter is the custom exhaust?.....
how much did the twin-loop run you and where did u get it from?.
i am also thinking about the Spoon axle back.
any input would be appreciated

Not sure what what kind of system you're building, but King Motorsports will tell you that the stock b-pipe is pretty decent, again mainly for mild bolt on applications, not for all out race systems. I think if the b-pipe is a weakness, then their system would include it (Type R for example, civic and integra). But for CX-EX, stock b-pipe should be fine, if you're not fully built. Up to you.

I have the Mugen twin loop on my 4DR. It's just the axle back (cost :$499 ). Got it from http://www.kingmotorsports.com and the exhaust is 2.25" perfect fitment for the OEM rear bumper "exhaust hole" and it would be cheaper and just as effective to build your own system using the Mugen twin loop and upgrade your piping, etc. becuase it is very expensive to but the whole system (around $1000). Kingmotorsports only has the exhaust SYSTEM available for the B16B JDM CTR and the axle-back for the B16A. Sure it's pricey but you'll get all the girls

Keep in mind the Spoon is LOUD (from everything I've read on H-T). The twinloop is mellow and very quiet on the highway. Great tone overall. This I say from personal experience, because I own one.
On my 99 Si, I run the axleback w/ the stock b-pipe. I'll upgrade the b-pipe when it rots out.

When I got mine It was an axle back that bolted right up. It was decent and heavy as hell. I had a few problems with rubber n the hangers kept coming off. But it sound great. I had the spoon on my integra but it was pretty loud. I would probably never buy one again because I dont really care to stick out like a sore thumb when driving.

Hehe I paid $125 from a guy who didn't know what it was, and told me it was fugly.
Still, personally i think the tone sucks compared to my old spoon n1 race muffler... too bad that thing wasn't hella practical on the streets with a 85dB legal limit... i think it was up near the 115dB mark..
I run an RS*R b pipe, with Fujitsubo extractors... works for me..
Go with the Spoon... Its the ****..

Got mine at kingmotorsports for $499 axleback. Worth the $$$ because it sounds so great and doesn't deafen me.

The Sp00n is probably a smidge louder than the Apex, althought the Apex is pretty damn loud.
Twinloop is the absolute other end of the spectrum.
