Just was letting you guys know that if you drive an s model it is already prewired for VTEC!

ummm yeah they are look at the firewall side, see the org/wht and org/blu, that means they lead to the correct pinouts going into the ECU. now if you have a del sol go look at the same firewall side you will see that you also have the org/wht and org/blu. its not that hard

my 94 del sol s came pre-wired for vtec, but i can't vouch for the rest of the s models though.

yeah thats the year they stopped making them! they made them from 93-97...also ive seen 92 del sols but im not sure if it was legit

I think he meant "is the 97 wired?" 92's are legit (in japan, and i believe canada). my 93 s is wired too. wish i had noticed that before I ran new wires. oh well, it only took about 5 mins anyways.

so will the del sol s stock ecu handle the vtec or will i have to replace the ecu with one that is ready for vtec
