A while back I made a thread asking what ECUs would run my D15B and I was told P28,P30,P61,P72,P91,P08...So I just wanted to confirm that all those ECUs are vtec and will they all just plug right up?(93 Civic DX sedan)

Never heard of a P91, but the rest are all VTEC capable. They're all OBD1 and will plug up, but the P08 and P28 are the ones closest that will run your engine properly.

What do you mean run it properly?Whats the difference with the other ECUs?

Sorry, I should have written that differently. I meant that you should be using the P28 or P08, because they're meant to run SOHC vtec engines. I wasn't referring to the other ecu's you mentioned. The P30 is the ecu for the DOHC B16A, the P61 is the ecu for the DOHC B17 engine, and the P72 is the ecu for the DOHC B18C1. So they're going to have fuel and timing maps for bigger DOHC engines. They'd make the car run, but it wouldn't be optimum for your engine. You should always use the ecu for the engine you have, or at least one that is as close as possible (or a chipped one running the correct base map). After a quick google search the P91 seems to be some kind of JDM SOHC D-series ECU, so that should work as well.

the P08 is what your D15B came with (provided you have the 130hp VTEC version of the D15B)
the P28 is meant for a D16Z6, slightly rich on the D15B, but it is the closest ECU to the P08.

any of the rest of those ECUs you mentioned can be chipped to run your engine. (you can also get a non-VTEC ECU that's had the VTEC parts added)

So I can get my current non-vtec ECU chipped for vtec?How much is that and where do I get it done?

Sorry, for opening up an old thread but, all of these ecus could hook up with the same pinout on the connector right? Im trying to do a mini me swap with a z6 head using a p91 ecu and I can not find anything on the p91 so I was wondering if I could just use the pinout diagram from a p28 or a p08 and know that it would work right. thanks
