alittle question for you guys
my friend has this thing in his 99 civic
hes selling his car so he took it off and now i have it, he says i can have it, but the problem is i have a 96 civic and i was wondering will it fit my car???

Where did you friend get it? I thought that all 96+ civics came without the ciggerette lighter and ashtray.

my 2000 doesn't have a cigarette lighter OR ashtray.. wtf? is that only for like EX coupes?

I dunno if this is the reason but my mom bought a 2002 Accord a few months ago and when i was at the dealer I heard something like Honda doesnt support smoking so they stopped putting ciggarette lights and ashtrays in their cars...

Well first off it ruins the interior, I don't care what you say smoking is bad for you and bad for your car... please don't smoke in your car. Plus smoking looks gay.

yeah i don't smoke, so im glad i have what i have. i guess they yanked the ash tray and cig lighter in 2000, all i have is a power outlet with a "12v" rubber cap. no cig ligher

I have a 99ex coupe, and I dont have that piece. I have a little power outlet in the center, but no lighter. I have a coin tray (ashtrya) on the left hand side under the sunroof controls.
