OK so sometimes I am getting some white smoke out of my exhaust,
usually only when in vtec at wot. and higher rpms.

also when I get into vtec sometimes I hear this pinging noise.. it sounds like it's coming from the tail pipe, and I'm really not sure if it is detonation or if it's just a rattle!(my car has lots of rattles/squeaks) i've never heard detonation before so i'm not sure what to listen for.

heck i detonated the **** out of my last motor and didn't hear a thing.

so anyhoo, the white smoke is worrysome, but it's been cold so i'm not sure if it was just condensation, like when u can see your breath.

comp test is 180psi for every cyl.
which sounds ok BUT thats' actually down like 10-15 points from my last comp test a few months ago!!

no leakdown done.. i'd like to get a ld tester but theyr pricey

Oh and two things have changed since I was tuned,
dont have a cat anymore, and i'm runnign one of those 160deg thermostats.
i'm worried that one or both threw my tune off?

OH and coolant/oil levels are fine.. no mixing of either.
i see some white smoke comin outta the dipstick hole when i check my oil tho,
just alil..
