Aircon radiator
I've just sold my Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC and have brought a civic vti 1994!
The aircon radiator is completely shot and I can't find another one. My question is would an aircon radiator from a 2000 honda civic fit and be just as effective?

I'm talking about the radiator for the aircon? It's completely buggered and has lost nearly all its fins. I need a new one and was wondering if one from a later, 2000 model would fit?

Re: (-Gary-)
ahh.. was it an optional extra where you are too then? It's an optional extra here and REALLY hard to find an air con radiator as it is so rare to have a 1994 civic vti with aircon!
I doubt one of a later model could vary very much could it? And I presume if it is not the same it could be made to fit quite easily?

Re: (VTEC-LUDE)
can you take pictures for us to clarify this? all i can think of right now is the all in one radiator and condensor in one mold. the radiator is on top of the condensor, and i don't think i have seen those in a prelude here yet??

Sure.. i'll get some pictures up for you tomorrow mate, when it's light. I'm pretty sure my condensor and rad are seperate though. Although I'm not very experienced with this engine or setup! THe condensor seems to be behind the radiator..
I'll have those pics tomorrow for you, cheers.

Re: (VTEC-LUDE)
As you can see, the aircon condensor is separted from the rad-it's in the bottom left. Sorry about the pic angle/quality. It's the best I could get with it still on the car.

Re: (VTEC-LUDE)
yea here in the states we call that thing thats in front of the radiator a condensor like what the second poster said. i don't know if it will fit, if i recall i thought the radiator and the condensor (a/c) were side by side not on top of each other.

i think i misunderstood you, i thought your condensor was in front of your radiator. you were right about the fan that is behind the radiator. when you said "aircon" you were referring to the condensor and i guess your condensor fins are all bent. i guess you have to find out if it fits i guess. hope this clears up everything. good luck
