Default Airbag deployment?

I was wondering about something. I plan on changing my steering wheel because it looks like crap basically.

I want the s2000 steering wheel but something my friend mentioned to me that had me thinking.

Since the airbag is calibrated for the dimensions of a S2000, if I got into an frontal accident where the airbag would go off would there be any Ill affects because it is now in a civic chassis.

I hope what I am a saying is clear to you guys. Basically do you think the airbag would open any harder or softer or not big enough?

It shouldnt matter. The airbag itself does not regulate deployment. The frontal impact sensor is what determines if your airbags will be deployed.

What year Civic you got? Coz it's not like the S2K steering wheel will just bolt up to any year Civic. I don't think you can even get the airbag to work coz the plugs & wiring are different.

I have a 97 civic. It doesn't bolt up to 92-95 civics. I have seen plenty of pics of the steering wheel in 96-2000 chassis
