You'd have to cut a hole in the bumper. Or you could convert to a '99-'00 front.

Re: Air Duct for EK (ek_jeremy)
I made one for my gf's 98 Ex. Didn't cut any holes or anything. Bought the parts from Autozone lol. Check my sig for a link to her car album. I haven't taked any updated pics yet but I can tell you that the pipe does is not under the bumper anymore. I just didn't have time to make the cut's in the grill slats to place it.
Essentially, this is how I did it. Go to autozone and look for the ricer section. You'll see that they have those universal intake pipes. They should also have flexible piping and intake adapter plates or something. I ran one end to the filter and the other to the front bumper grill slats. The best way to do this is to take off the front bumper to see how much you need to cut behind the bumper for clearence. The flex pipe fits in the hole of the engine bay perfectly. Good luck with it. I'll update the pics later on but it should give you an idea.

for 96-98 you have to cut out a hole in the bumper
for 99-00, cut out the fake vent where the fog lights go
there's this HX here with a really clean 4" hole with a mesh plastic grill over it, looks really good
i'd recommend doing a short ram to where the stock airbox was (above that hole) and run dryer hose or similar piping from the hole to that spot. it will send the air directly at the filter without sucking up water.
i planned to do this, but i have a 99 with foglights so i don't have a good spot for it really.
hope that helps. bump!
