What to do
I orignally planned to turn my H22 eg hatch into a track/weekend car so it gutted minus the bash and two seats. The car has slowly become a daily driver and I am thinking to convert back to some sort of comfortable driving car. i.e. a softer suspension, adding the interior back, ?power windows?, painting it, putting a quiter exhaust on it, and adding A/C to battle the summer heat.
Here are my questions?
1. what is the easiest way to add A/C to the car (it never had it)
2. do you think I should do anything to add some HP to combat the added A/C and interior weight? I need to keep the reliability of the stock motor for the 50-100 mile drive ED
thanks

You have an H22 in an EG hatch, and you're worried you might lose a couple hp with the a/c??? Just turn it off when you step on it, and think of the rest of us with d16 non-VTEC engines with no accessories and still slow!

Re: What to do (three6t)
You can go to many aftermarket performance shops to get the parts to the ac system. Chances are they have done an H22 swap recently, and like many others such as myself, I didn't keep my ac. You would need to get the compressor and the belt to get it to work. Not that we need it though .
