---Air cond. Help needed, Live in Florida!!--
When I go to turn the Air con on, sometimes it stays on and others it doesn't.
It will kick in then turn off again though
Has anyone ever had this problem or does anyone know what the problem is?
I ordered the fan switch by the climate control as a few people said thats what it could be.
When I slide the dial to 1, 2 or 3 the blower motor works, but the condensor fan and compressor does not. Its either both on or nothing, just the blower motor.
Also does anyone know where the Thermo Switch is or the AC Pressure Switch?
They both have the same colour wires going in and out, tested them but both are on resistors.

There are no leaks on the system, had it checked for pressure ect. Would the compressor clutch though cause the fan not to kinck on.
Basically when the fan kicks on the compressor will kick on.

if the clutch engages the fan comes on, when the clutch disengages the fan turns off.
so if clutch is stuck on so is fan and vise versa.
have you checked for the right gap on the clutch.

No I haven't, how do you do that, doesn't say in the manual.
So its sort of like the clutch is slipping? or not grabbing.
