Air bag and SRS unit removal question
OK. I am in the process of gutting my car to redo a little of the interior.
I want to remove the steering wheel/airbag in a few weeks to make room for a new steering wheel (probably a Mugen). I have unhooked the wiring harness and put the red short pin in.
Will it be ok to drive around like this after:
I also want to remove the SRS control unit, found under the heater box. If I remove this unit, will I constantly ahve a "SRS" light on in the dash. And if so, any tips on how to get rid of it? (hopefully nothing like "remove the bulb")
Let me know!

Re: Air bag and SRS unit removal question (Revolveu2)
the beauty of my honda was... i could drive around with nothing wired up right, or even at all... You can still drive where ever you want... as far as the SRS light is concerned, either do what you said.. and take out the bulb... or just unplug the harness into the SRS slot on the gauge cluster... mine was constantly on so i just unplugged it from the cluster... and no problems
