I just installed an aftermarket steering where yesterday and this morning I went to turn on my fog lights and nothing happened. I have the Squareish yellow ones that a thousand other people have. The wiring for the fog lights was not messed with while installing the steering wheel and I even checked them just now and they are exactly the same as before. Is it possible that fog lights wont work without the airbag? Seems illogical but the only wires that were removed were the ones for the airbag and horn

One has nothing to do with the other unless the wiring for the fogs was done incorrectly.

Are we to assume you already checked the bulbs, fuses, switch etc?

Yea, I agreed with this...may be need to recheck fuses & switch by change it (we cann't see if it malfunction)
