Default Aftermarket shocks with Stock springs?

I don't want to drop my car at all, but want to handle better. Is this possible with aftermarket shocks, like Koni, Tokico, etc? rolling on stock springs? Anyone done this?

if you just put stock itr suspension on then it will handle 100 times better while still giving you a stock ride height

The ITR springs already have a .75 drop over stock, am I correct?

I can't answer how stock springs will do with performance shocks on a Honda, but on my old 78 Buick Regal back in the days, it make it stiffer. Rides a bit harsher. Handle better with a lot less lean in turns. Then again, it was a different car. I would say you can expect handling to be improved. Just make sure the shocks you get really is "performance."

basically should I get the ITR setup or git koni yellows with stock springs? I'm leaning towards the ITR setup because it costs less probably, but I'm gonna need some help putting it on. How much will shops charge to do that sort of job?

I would say go for the ITR setup. It will probably improve the handling alot on ur car but retains the tstock height. As for the cost of putting them on at a shop. I'm getting my rear springs and shocks put on for about 160 and its because the bolts are seized up. I'm sure a lot of u guys know of this problem with civics, especially if its an old one.

why?the purpose of springs is for better acceleration {no squat an the rear wheel}and more importantly better braking{no nose dive}shocks on the other hand compliment springs and smooth out the ride kind of to preference. if you were looking for performance in handling swaybars front and back now your talking serios handling.of course it's all a matter of preference .

I'm also getting rims at the end of the month... 15" rota slipstreams... I'll probably get a slight negative camber if I put on the struts/springs, you guys think my tires will be okay? If it's like a 1 inch drop it SHOULD be fine right? But alignment is all F'ed up and etc and wont get even wear on the rubbers... I'll probably go with kumho 711's because they are cheap and I've heard good things about them. Probably...205/50/15 or 205/55/15... what size?
