Front shock mounts busting
So, I've been driving with 99-00 SI H&R's on my 97 EJ for awhile now, they look great, the only difference between the two is as follows..
51865 96-00 HONDA CIVIC EX LX DX SPORT 1.75"/1.6"
51865-2 99-00 HONDA SI SPORT 1.75"/1.5"
So, my problem is, within the last year I have had to replace two sets of front shock mounts, 1 OE set & 1 AutoZone set. Now, I understand the front drop isn't rated for the model of my Civic, however the difference is minute, does anyone know of a set of stronger afternarjet mounts I could use to hopefully keep them from breaking? Do you have any ideas why they would keep busting on me? Thanks.

Re: (LyghtFunky1)
ground control, but I doubt the fact that the drop is off by a tenth of an inch matters. (coilovers are adjustmable in a 4 inch range) You probably need to maintain something.

I'm assuming he is talking about top hats.
Bad alignment, serious caster issues, worn/blown shocks, bushings. Whats the histroy on your car. Milleage, bushings etc. how does it drive?
It could be something as simple as the stock ones were due, but you replaced em with autozone crap which could be utter crap. Factory replacements may not have gone bad. Ypu have pics to see the wear patrtern and failure points?
Just FYI:
