Default aftermarket intake question?

i've got a 97 CX hatchback, and i'm about to buy a cold air intake... i was wondering if i need a "Mass Air Flow Sensor Adapter"? looks like there's a sensor that goes into my stock plastic intake piece... does this adapt to fit into my new intake?

thanks

your new intake should have a place to plug in your mass air flow sensor

i think your refering to your IAT sensor, and aftermarket intakes should have a rubber bung to plug it into.
