Default Aftermarket ECU's

Im thinking of buying an aem ems w/ uego. Does anyone know anything about this system good or bad. I know ill need to get someone experienced to tune it ,but dont know a whole lot of what kind of special features it has. I am also open for suggestions with another system that might be better too.

p.s. its going on a 94 civic with a b16a.

Default Re: Aftermarket ECU's (A.D.D. Racer)

I would say a standalone such as th AEM is more purpose built for RACE cars. Street/strip cars can still use it but it will probably be overkill. You could save a bunch of money getting your P30 (or even a cheaper P28) chipped and use Chrome or Uberdata. Now if you prefer to not use these freeware tuning methods you could still save money going with a S200 from Hondata. It really depends on what you plan on doing with the car in the end. But IMO I would look at a more economical approach to ECU tuning.

check out http://www.pgmfi.org tons of great info/people on there.
