aftermarket brake shoes for 97 Civic HX?
I have a '97 Civic HX with a stock drivetrain. Rear drums, no ABS.
I noticed that the brakes are heavily front biased; the fronts lock up easily, so I resisted getting uprated front pads, because I couldn't find aftermarket rear shoes. If I upgrade the front pads, I thought the bias would get worse and stopping distances would lengthen. So I left them alone.
No, I am not going to spend for a rear disc brake conversion.
Are there any aftermarket rear brake shoes with higher coefficient of friction, to increase the rear bias?

You can also get your stock shoes relined at some other brake companies.
