Hey everyone, we got a heavy downpour yesterday here and I tried to go to work in my car and it was no dice.

The car has been sitting in my driveway for about 12 hours in the rain. I turn the key and it cranks and starts but wont hold idle and die.

I try again and give it some gas to hold idle and the i tried to drive it. Got about 3 blocks til it died, tried starting it again and it just cranks. As if I werent getting spark.

Changed out my cap and rotor and still the same

Any ideas guys?

Need more info.

Was the B16A2 sitting out in the rain by itself?
Is the B16A2 in the car with no hood on while it rain?
Were your windows closed?
Any parts of the interior wet?
Did it flood?

Check if you get spark - take out a spark plug wire, put a screw driver or something metal into it and put it onto something else metal and crank to see if you get spark...repeat it for all 4

Assuming it starts.. you are at least getting some spark; usually fuel would cause it to die after being started (or lack thereof....)
