I have a 98 ex and when I bought it it just had an AEM short ram intake. I have alot of parts coming right now and I want to figure out how to turn the short intake into a cold air. Is there a company that makes, like, an extension piece to fit onto the shorty? or even a good, solid do-it-yourselfer? suggestions?

well, you could buy a "cheap" cold air intake off of ebay and just use the piece that you need, or you could try and contact AEM and see what they say, i've even seen some CAIs made out of pvc pipe...it all depends on how much apperance you want it to have and how much you are willing to spend....

if the extention doesn't work out i've got the complete cold air system for your car that i'm trying to get rid of. it's brand new, my car just needed a different one than the one i got.
