AEM fuel pressure regulator hits JR manifold
So I have an AEM fpr that I'd like to use on an AEM fuel rail in tandum with a JRSC. The supercharger is on there already, and disappointing as it was to see this, the fpr hits JR's manifold without sitting flushly .
Without buying a new fpr, or one that sits inline rather than on the rail, anybody have any ideas for a solution? btw, I've given thought to milling a half-inch thick aluminum "shim" to place between the fpr and the rail to raise the fpr up, but anything else?

I have the same setup. I used a 1/8" NPT tap on the holes in the FPR and in the fuel rail, then put some hose barb fittings in them with a piece of fuel line between the two. the 1/8" NPT tap is just small enough that it doesn't intrude on the o-ring sealing area if you need to return it to stock later. Here's a couple of pics of the engine bay, you can kind of see the FPR setup:

Sounds like a decent idea and I can see it better in the 2nd pic. Btw, super and turbo? I had a crazy idea to do both at one point but couldn't come up with a feasible way to manage it so the blower's bypass would open when the turbo spooled up, etc. How is that managed?

I made a new, bigger bypass. Here's a thread I started on it:

U can also get a remote mounted FPR. Meaning a FPR that mounts somplace else instead of the fuel rail.

I had one of those on my old JRSC setup. Do you know if it will fit with the AEM FPR? I used it with the stock FPR.

That's along the lines of what I'd prefer doing, plus I don't have access to tools to make my own at the moment. Any idea on a part# by any chance? And to be clear, its a solid piece, right? I'm having trouble imagining an angled adapter because you need somewhere to screw the fpr onto as well as somewhere to screw the adapter to the fuel rail.

Yea I know, but i already forked over $150+ for the aem fpr, might as well live with it if possible.

Any chance you'd want to let it go if you still have it?
