Default aem cai

hey well i have a aem cai and its startin to rain i just want to know if it will be fine cus on the intake it says 16" or less of a puddle or i should change it. isent aem air filters water residence? not sure.

Yeah man, you'll be fine. I have had mine on for over two years now, and it has been perfect. Just little splashes of water won't even harm it much, but if you are that worried about it, you could always get a bypass filter. I wouldn't though. Just be sure not to drive through lakes

yea im not worryed bout the rain its the puddles. but my car is low so i have to watch carfuly so im sure ill be fine. any more help?

Have I driven a Honda Civic with an AEM CAI since 1997 and never sucked up water?

Yes.

Did my wife drive her 1992 Civic with B16A2 w/AEM CAI almost tucking 195/50/15 tires (that means it was sitting low) for 5 years with zero issues?

Yes.

Bottom line is watch for puddles, and if need be push the clutch in or even cut the key off when you're about to hit a puddle.

It's worked for me for almost a decade now.

I have an arospeed cai in the front bumper and never had a problem you would have to go through a puddle that would completley cover the intake.
