i was wondering....
is advancing the time on the motor bad?......advancing by moving the dizzy towards the firewall....

my friend did it to his old prelude with an H22 and he said he knocked of half a second on the track?

i have a gsr....just with bolt-ons....what u guys think?

best place to do it is on a dyno...where you can see the results and if you have gone to far ...every motor is different but yes you can get a little out of timing in the dizzy ...G/L

yea i notice right now....i moved the dizzy all the way towards the firewall ....and now i have no lagg....it also feels abit strongger!!!!

im just scared of blowing the motor!!!

Advancing the ignition timing increases power output by increasing the peak cylinder pressure. The downside? If the pressure becomes too high, you will encounter detonation.

If you want to advance the timing a lot, I recommend using higher octane fuel.

Also, as previously stated, I would highly suggest adjusting the timing on a dyno.

yea im always running 91 octane, and im going to get a p28 and getting the car tuned!!!
