Default Advice Needed/Wanted: My Sohc Turbo Setup coming. (Lil Help. )

Here's what I want to run:

d16z6
Vafc Hack
dsm 450cc's
d15b7/z6 pistons
Ls Rods
Thicker Headgasket (.2 or a little bit thinner. )
14b-td05h
DSM SMIC ( It's enough for me. )
Turbo XS RFL BOV
Walboro Pump

I need to know this:

a) How much HP can stock LS rods take? Is it worth getting LS rods, I thought I read somewhere that they were pretty strong but i'm not quoting anything.

b) What's the easiest way to lower compression on that motor. Do I even have to go the route of getting new rods before I boost or can I just get a new headgasket?

c) Is there a major difference with running a straight pipe or is Catback Fine? If I already have it I might as well use it.

d) The VAFC Hack... is the Walboro Pump needed? Is it an ideal thing to have?

e) Can someone do a calculation with the D-series calc... http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm ... and tell me what my C/R would be with d15b7 Pistons in a d16z6 motor with LS Rods and a thicker headgasket. That'd help because I don't know the LS rod length.

I searched for this stuff for the last hour but nothing as far as a direct answer to my questions. So sorry if you find what I couldn't. All help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

Talk to DelSlowTurbo on here....he is the local boost king around my way. I really know nothing about SOHC turbo's or what LS rods can take but I know that the search function has SOMEthing about that. Not being rude...just saying.

there are people putting down in excess of 275whp on stock ls rods. i would say good for easy 225-250 on a well tuned setup. the real question is what are your hp goals for this motor?? if you are looking for more than say 200whp or so i would use the ls rods and get them rebushed for aftermarket forged pistons. for more than 300hp(which is an assload) get both forged pistons and rods. i dont think i can hurt to have the fuel pump. catback is cool- just make sure the piping is somewhere between 2.25 and up to 3 inches depending on your hp goals. dont forget about upgraded clutch and to tune it well
