So long story short, I have a car in my garage with no suspension that I no longer want. It's a 1993 CX hatch shell. It had a GSR swap in it and after it blew up, I ore it all apart with plans to swap rear disk brakes on, larger front brakes, and rebuild the motor. The motor I built ended up going into another shell. Two suspension bolts broke, one for a rear trailing arm bushing and one for the compensator arm (maybe?) in the front. Anyway, I want it gone.

How would I move a shell with no suspension, thus, no wheels? It's sitting on 4 jack stands.

Cut it up and scrap it...if its not worth selling.

grab some buddies and just pick the thing up and drag it out. Or get some furniture dollys.

I've tried listing it and all anyone will offer is like $100. I figure at least a few hundred would be fair for everything there. I can't get a 2/3 door front end to swap onto my sedan for that at the junkyard.

It has full interior...kinda. I put black cloth on the headliner since it was gray vinyl. I had integra gsr seats in it and pulled them out for my sedan. It still has the original gray dash and door panels and such.

Furniture dollies sound like a good idea. This isn't the place for it, but I'll probably list a part out in the classifieds...or I can be pm'd I guess.

Like hanns said. Hire someone with a forklift to move it to a bed and ship it off to no-mans-land.

You could prob get more scraping it than selling it if nobody is willing to give up more than a benjamin!

A few issues with getting a fork lift. it's going to cost more for it, then the car is worth. You don't know if he even has the room to get a fork lift in the garage, to get the car, let alone any where near the car.


A dolley is the easiest way, next to calling some buddys. Then all you need is beer. lol

no ur preetty much f*#ked unless u cut it apart or remove almost everything and bring agood couple friends and move it wich will still be hard lol

I've cut a couple up in the past, as the bodies were rusted out and worthless. Hell, one I just cut right in half with my plasma cutter and threw it into the back of my F150 (by myself) and took it to the recycler in a couple trips.

Easiest way?? I don't know about that...maybe the most cost effective. If you lived near me...I would do it for you with my loader for free and bring the car home and use it for parts.

And if he gets the dollys...whats he going to do? Push it out of the garage into the driveway? Not like he can load it onto a trailer using dollys. You would have to have friends along with a dollys. I guess the friend idea would work...make sure you have enough buddies...car still prob weighs 1200lbs or so. And then getting on to a trailer...make sure you have solid ramps to walk it on there with.

Well duhh...I doubt anyone with a loader would do it any less than 200 dollars...I was just saying...because I could get use out of the car. However, the dolly method will not work unless you have friends there as well, you can get it out of the garage with the dollys...but after that they are useless.

I tried this with an old s10 that is in the same ordeal as his hatch...and they wouldn't get it without the wheels or being able to put wheels on it...but I guess they are all different.

I would lift up the front end with a come-along attached to a rafter or use a motor lift and back a trailer up underneath it.

Deal with the broken bolt situatation and throw some old junk stock suspension on it to move it around. If it was rust free and you were closer I'd be very interested. It's looking more and more like it's going to cost me $2500+ to get a bare rust free shell brought over here (even more if I want doors, hood, hatch fenders etc)

hit one of those listings that say "we buy your junk car " ad's and see what they would offer. they usally even tow it for free

Get some shopping carts, tear the baskets off, throw one under each corner and push it out. But throwing it on a trailer and scraping it would be the smartest way.
