Default advice, on ls motors, are the da Ls motors same as the 94+ to 2001

cuz im trading my gsr motor for an ls one cuz i decided to go boost and its better off wit ls, but yea this guy with a da has an ls but i want to know if there the same as the 94 and up?

Why would get rid of a GSR for an LS. A GSR with boost will make much more power than an LS. Plus the GSR will be more reliable. The rods are stonger as well as the rod bolts. The sleeves are the same so nothing there.

Good tuning is what makes an engine reliable. A bad tune will make both motors more likely to break down.


Also, no the B18A motors are different from the B18Bs.

-B18Bs only vent crankcase gases from the valve cover
-Different pistons and compression ratio
-Different cam profiles
