Advice on D15b Vtec (JDM) to D16z6 Swap
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and Honda ownership as I've just brought a Civic EG4 JDM Import.
I've searched on this subject but I would like to confirm my studies.
I have a D15b Vtec in my Civic at present and would like to know if the D16z6 would be a straight swap?
I know the actual engine will bolt straight in but would I have to change any connectors, wiring etc or is it just a case of swapping ECU's.
I know this subject has been asked before but I just want to make sure as my Civic is a JDM import
Also the car is automatic at the moment.

Direct replacement. If you run a P28 ECU you'll need to change to a 4 wire O2 sensor though and add the 3 wires for the heater part of it.

I would be looking to run the P28 ecu as eventually I will be going forced induction and I've read that the P28 is the better ecu for this. Where do the 3 extra wires for the o2 sensor run/connect to?
Thanks
Thanks
