Advice on buying 94DX. Owner says there is slow clutch fluid leak???
I've found a pretty good deal on a 94 Civic DX HB. The car seems to be in excellent condition other than the fact that it has a "slow clutch fluid leak" according to the owner. He says he must add fluid about once a month. He also says the whole clutch was replaced in the last 3 yrs, so he's not sure what the problem is. It has 147000 miles on it, and hes the original owner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to transmission issues.
Thanks in advance!

The owner wasn't sure. I'm not familiar with the hydraulic systems on front wheel cars... is it the same as rear-wheel? Do you have a slave cylinder for the clutch? Where is it located on this car?

He can find out. Does it leak from slave cylinder, clutch line itself, or tranny somwhere?d
