Just set it at 18 degrees and forget it.

you could destroy your motor..
make sure you have a timing light.
and i think 18 degrees is still in safe range.

You'll feel a diffrence in your pocket when you can only run premium.

haha ditto . with gas prices the way they are right now i don't think the performance gain will be worth the extra money you have to pay for gas.

you are supposed to oly run premium on any DOHC vtec honda engine.

and no you wont feel it. if you think you do feel it, you are wrong.

i cant stand those people "duuuude i advanced my timing like 2 degrees, the dyno said it made 2WHP i can totally feel it!" because you cant. the fact of the matter is, if you take a **** before you go make a 1/4 run, it will probably make the same amount of diffrence as a 2 degree change in timing.

Honestly, I'd say take the AC belt and power steering belt off if your situation provided such. I did that to my old Protege and that sucker would rev up quicker than a weed-wacker.....but maybe that was b/c it was a 1.5L..... Hell, just try it, but your car will steer like a brick and become a mobile sauna
