Adjusting Timing - Need info from VECI label
hey honda-ites.
I am trying to adjust my timing back to factory specs or as close as possible. I have a Haynes manual telling me the steps, and I think I have that part down, but the manual and also the manual for the timing light that I have specifically says to check the VECI label (Vehicle Emission Control Information) that is usually placed on the underside of the hood. It says to check the label for any necessary prelim steps to take before adjusting the timing.
My problem is that I now have a carbon fiber hood and no longer have the OG hood, which means bye-bye VECI label. I imagine alot of you out there have the same problem.
So I was hoping someone out there that still has their hands on the label could do me a HUGE favor and let me know what the label says word for word
I am working on a 93 Civic hb DX....original D15B7 motor in it.
Anyone out there who can help me out???? Please!!!
Thanks in advance - jefé
