adjusting koni yellows
i'm on ots gc (koni specific) + koni yellows and the spring rates are 340f/250r. i have this set-up on my 96 civic hatchback. i heard you're suppose to set your shocks according to the spring rates. since the settings is 2 full turns from full soft-full stiff.. would i set the fronts 1.5 turns and the rears 1 turn? any help would be greatly appreciated. if anyone has the same setup on their ek, i'm curious to know what you're settings are too!
my fronts have the gc on the highest sleeve? is it normal to be that low with the coilovers set all the way up in the front?

im running the koni gc setup...i just adjusted my shocks as stiff as possible...i wanted for it to ride stiff...but i have no idea what it should be, so bump for an educated answer ^.^
p.s. this would probably get better responses in the suspension forum

Re: (bolsaman)
yeah, it doesnt move to fast...but anyways, my car is lower than yours all around...and im pretty sure there is still room left in the adjustment...not sure what the deal with that is. maybe you need to slide the gc's down a little? if thats possible?...mine came pre-assembled, so im not sure how they go on...let me see if i can find some pictures of them, maybe thatll help you
edit: this is all i could find man...probably wont help much because the bubble wrap is still on

i adjust mine according to the autoX track/conditions. my spring rates are most likely overkill so the rears are full soft and the fronts are about 1-1.5 turns from full soft.
that seems to work best for me.

You might have the springs switched front & rear. Are the higher rate springs in the
front, and the lower ones in the rear? If so, they might have sent you the wrong
springs (correct rate, but not long enough). Write down the numbers on the springs,
and give GC a call. Tell them your problem, what springs you received, and ask if
these are the correct ones. They should fix any problems from there...
Your springs should look about like this:
front
rear

Re: (bolsaman)
Those look like OTS spring rate.
The first set of number is the lenght of the spring
The second is the width.
The third is the weight.

Here's the math for you...
Front
200 = 8 inch spring length
64 = 2.5 inch diameter spring
58 = 325 LB/IN spring (close enough to call 340 lb/in springs)
Rear
180 = 7 inch length spring
64 = 2.5 inch diameter spring
44 = 250 LB/IN spring
Basically that means you have OTS spring rates.
You should have it right based on the numbers, you should have it right. Not unless they printed the right numbers on the wrong spring... If you're still concerned, take it out and measure it...

For anyone's curiousity, the front spring pictured is a 380 lb/in spring...
That and to OP: springs should look like that... the front about an inch longer than the rear spring...
